National Insect Week returns in 2020

Seaford's White-Letter Hairstreaks

Tuesday, June 26, 2018 - 10:30 to 12:30

Seaford is one of the strongholds for White-letter Hairstreaks in Sussex.

This event is aimed at teaching you the skills to locate these butterflies on urban elms.

It is hoped that people will then search elms in their local areas to help us map this species in Seaford, Eastbourne, Brighton and other Sussex localities.

Dogs are welcome at this event too.

Meeting place: Outside Seaford Baptish Curch Belgrave Rd, Seaford BN25 2EE.

Terrain: Flat - walking along pavements.

Grid Reference: TV478995.

For more information or to confirm your place, please contact the event leaders, Jamie Burston & Michael Blencowe. Tel: 07884484698 or email:
