National Insect Week returns in 2020

Marvel at Moths at Pentireglaze

Friday, June 15, 2018 - 21:00 to 22:30

Fascinated about moths? We're hosting an evening of moth hunting and discovery in our allotment at Pentireglaze, near New Polzeath.

To celebrate National Moth Night, join National Trust rangers for an evening of moth trapping and then identifying what we find.

Settle in for a short talk about moths and then test out a range of moth trapping techniques.

A local moth expert will be on hand to show you what's what and we'll have a range of ID books for help too.

Park at the Lead Mines car park (PL27 6QY, SW 941 799). To find Pentireglaze orchard walk back down the hill, over the cattle grid, past the farm buildings and cottages to the bottom of the hill.
